Okay, I love this. I almost don’t want to comment because I can’t stop studying the character of this building! The light and dark areas in the shot are brilliant, they add so much interest. I especially love the black fade out at the top, it lends such mystery and a complete lack of a defined end of the building. It could go on for another story or two or ten, we don’t know. Maybe this is the whole thing. It goes on to the sides indefinitely also, this was so expertly framed. I love that it has no color, it makes it forlorn and ancient and a little spooky, the windows are old empty eyes that used to look out on children playing, but no more, now there is just lonliness and echo-ey silence and dust. I’m so glad you included the chain link fence, it keeps this building apart from the living world. Wow, this is so great, I would totally write a paper on this piece for an art class.
