This picture is absolutely beautiful. Love the composition, love the subtle colors. Soo pretty.

Very well named. It immediately made me think of a ballerina waiting backstage in her costume for the curtain to open for her first performance in a lead role. The colors are shy and that is appropriate to the title and my story line because opening day is full of excitement and color to the experienced, but it is hesitant and blushing for those performing for the first time. And it has more meaning when it is faced alone, an opening day of a full bed of tulips would be friendly and chatty and comfortable and not appropriate for muted tones. But an opening day for just one by itself with no room even in the bottle for a friend’s support is more of a personal moment. This is a great marriage of a shot and a title.
