I love how you chose to frame this shot. The dynamics of the diagonal lines from left to right and from back to front all give the subject an evocation of motion and interest that horizontal lines do not. I also like the lighting, dark corners with the central oval lit, it reminds me of the old lithographs and camio pins that were single person portraits, you know? I feel it gives the bicycle more importance and almost dignity because it is quoting that old traditional style. The subjects were also looking to the side, not straight-on, just as your subject is doing.

I was drawn to the green, peeling paint on the bike. The feel is very vintage.
