I absolutely LOVE this photo! I think it would be one of my favorites!! I don’t know if it’s the green and brown needles poking through the white snow or the brown – with a hint of green – pinecone front and center. . . But what it does is remind me of a cozy, old-fashioned Christmas!!!

This was such a random picture, I was taking a picture of the yellow roses below the pine tree and looked up and saw it. It’s striking, but not necessarily expected.

Very cool. Good contrast, I love the focus of the pine cone in the center, and the splayed out needles all over.
