Of course I really like this one. I subscribe to a classic trucks magazine and they have a page where readers can submit photos of abandoned trucks for publication. This fits the requirements for that perfectly. The setting really stirs the imagination. Of course I know the setting, but to an unfamiliar eye, this really speaks of years of service on a farm and now the old war horse has found its final resting place among the weeds. Solitude. A wind-swept plain. You can almost feel the hot wind in your face as you look at this setting.

The sepia really creates the antique mood of an otherwise normal shot. Great photo.

I like this one a lot. The coloring suits the subject and the lighting seems just right for the atmosphere.

This is a really great subject matter, really interesting! This particular shot has a tangent on the top of the photo, where the truck meets the top of the photo. Maybe an even more successful shot would be one that was backed away a little bit, to grasp the loneliness of the truck in the field, rather than cropped in so tight.

I also like the sepia in this one. I also agree that backing up a bit would be good, too. That’s the closest those weeds are ever going to get to driving down the road with the wind blowing through them. 😀
