I love his face. He seems to be saying, “Not again, dad.” You did a good job here. The shadow on his face isn’t too strong. The shadow actually draws your eye to his face, which is where I assume you want people to look. Where the towel meets the sand/water is a little burned out and hard to tell where one ends and another begins. This is definitely frameworthy, though.
How can I not comment on my adorable son with his standard camera face. “I’m supposed to look at that thing for some reason, but it makes me a little nervous.” Thanks again for watching our kids that day, they had so much fun playing in the water.
The purpose of this blog is partly a showcase for my skills, part experiment, and partly a way for me to get out and take more pictures.
My original goal was to post 1 picture per day for (at least) 365 days. I accomplished this for 2 years and 3 months. I then decided that I was doing it to do it, rather than better my craft. I no feel obliged to post daily, but I often do. I hope you enjoy my creations and please leave comments
Excellent framing, his face is in the butter zone.

I would take out whatever the striped thing is behind his back arm; it’s kinda distracting to the rest of the photo. Great shot.
