I like this picture. I have always thought the insides of computers looked like futuristic cities. I bet one could do a whole series of components that look like manmade structures. Anyway I just think this pic is cool. Looks just like a refinery.

This really makes me uncomfortable! Even knowing that this is a prepared meal, the fact that you shot it head-on with the toothpicks in the eyes is so confrontational that I can’t even bear it for a few seconds. Seriously, can anyone stare right at those “eyes” for any amount of time?

In this shot, I love the uniformity of the height of the flowers. It makes it seem exotic, like they are floating in a pond, but they are chrysanthemum’s, garden flowers that grow in round bushes. Maybe it’s silly to love something as simple as an unexpected placement of flower tops, but it is just the little twist that pulls my imagination somewhere else.
