Makes me think of this stupid poem from HS where it was supposed to be all cool because this person visited a place or planet and described the fast moving four eyed beasts (cars), and how they seemed to follow the orders of the five eyed beasts (cop cars). It was "such a clever idea" to describe our world in such a way that it wasn't immediately evident that it was our world. No, Mrs. Cramer, it was stupid. And very planet of the apes. ♫ Oh my gosh, I was wrong,it was earth all along...♫ Thank you, Simpsons. Oh, and sorry about my random soap box.

Looking at this photo without reading the title, one wonders if she was praying and in so doing her soul was looking up, waiting for instruction. With the title, it seems to me that she saw something or felt something higher than herself that brought her to her knees. Her serene face matches the mood of a title like 'Humbled' also. I like the ethereal feel to the picture, but I think there could have been more movement in the form of different angles. It's very straight up and down... but maybe that's what you were going for. :)

I agree with Ruth... I think because the light is brighter at the bottom, the borders are more defined. Either just a head shot or fading out more at the bottom.

It does have a hopeful feel to it.

This photo has really good lines . . . I like how the fence leads your eyes to the barn. I also like all the different textures; the shingles on the roof, the boards on the wall, the stalks of grass. Lots of good contrasting textures.

What amazing texture you get without all that distracting green color. Broccoli isn't that interesting in my opinion, but this shot in black and white is great at bouncing your eye around and noticing these tiny little bumps.
