About This Blog
The purpose of this blog is partly a showcase for my skills, part experiment, and partly a way for me to get out and take more pictures. My original goal was to post 1 picture per day for (at least) 365 days. I accomplished this for 2 years and 3 months. I then decided that I was doing it to do it, rather than better my craft. This photo has really good lines . . . I like how the fence leads your eyes to the barn. I also like all the different textures; the shingles on the roof, the boards on the wall, the stalks of grass. Lots of good contrasting textures.
Love the textures, love the memories. I have this as a “calendar wallpaper” on my desktop for this month.
