About This Blog
The purpose of this blog is partly a showcase for my skills, part experiment, and partly a way for me to get out and take more pictures. My original goal was to post 1 picture per day for (at least) 365 days. I accomplished this for 2 years and 3 months. I then decided that I was doing it to do it, rather than better my craft. It looks like something that would be found on the bottom of the ocean.
What amazing texture you get without all that distracting green color. Broccoli isn’t that interesting in my opinion, but this shot in black and white is great at bouncing your eye around and noticing these tiny little bumps.
What amazing texture! I can’t tear my eyes away. I agree, the color would be distracting and not nearly as interesting.
I wouldn’t have guessed it was Broccoli if you hadn’t told me. Interesting how much of my association with broccoli comes from the color…
