Announcing the first of hopefully many Photokapi contests!
The Prize:
- A framed/matted photo of your choosing from the first 90 entries in the blog. I haven’t decided what size it will be yet, but it will be at least 8×10 but no bigger than 24×30. The winner will possibly be allowed to choose the size between those dimensions, and I will ship/bring it to wherever they might be.
The Rules:
- To enter, simply comment on AT LEAST 10% (basically between 8-12) of the pictures on the Photokapi blog with constructive criticism/insight etc. (in other words, “nifty picture” or “good job” doesn’t cut it.)
- You must post the comments on the Photokapi blog to be eligible, Facebook is nice, but comments have to be on the blog to count. (though you can put them BOTH places).
- Not a rule, but I would appreciate you becoming a fan of Photokapi on Facebook and/or follow me on Twitter. Just search for Photokapi.
- Contest ends on March 31, 2010. Any pictures posted up until that day are eligible to be won and framed.
- The drawing will be held the 1st week of April, and the winner notified and glorified, then they can choose which photo they would like.
So, I don’t really know anything about photography, but I really tried to post insightful comments, but struggled with the constructive criticisms. I have however, enjoyed looking at your photos the last couple months.
Pick Me, Pick Me! I don’t know if I could choose just one picture for a frame, though.
Where did you take the picture of the blue tulip leaves? Be sure to get another shot of them blooming. I bet they’ll be gorgeous!
